Shang Xia is Hermes’ collaborative venture with Chinese designer Jiang Qiong Er in Shanghai, to create a new brand that builds on the vast heritage of Chinese culture and the rise of the chinese domestic economy, not to mention the country’s ever-expanding global influence. Completely separate to the Hermes brand, the company is in a perfect position to create this new brand in it’s own philosophy of craftmanship, quality and design sensibilities.
